'White supremacists' threaten safety of her family!

I’m so depressed this morning!
After so many months of starting to believe that “I live in the ‘Racist state’ in the union"
 (Florida).
In some states in this free country,if you are not ’White’ you are not ‘Human’!
1st black woman legislator in Vermont
 resigns after 
white supremacists
 threaten safety of her family!
‘Big, Bad, Bernie’s, State of Vermont came crashing back into "memories of my past”!
I keep forgetting who, what, and why, he keeps on getting elected in that state!
I am now forced to remember my three ‘White Mountains’ up north and 
I do not mean
‘Mother Nature Mountains’!

I mean the three ‘Racist’
 New England States 
hugging our 
Canadian Border!
I was under the misguided impression that New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine were only ‘White People' abusive to the Native American People
 and
Florida,is only abusive to everyone not ‘White’!
I am sure that millions of people around the world 
can relate to the following?
Going from 
Connecticut, Rhode Island Massachusetts and New York
 to 
New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Florida
 is like going 
from 
Disney Land to Trump Land!

“We can no longer continue with the delusional planning
 that somehow doing ‘less bad or harm’ is sustainable.”
Adapting to a failed system in an age of climate change, as the devastation from Hurricane Michael attests, is failure, not adaptation.
Our nation spent more than
 on recovery from climate disasters last year.  
The historic barrage of hurricanes in 2017—
wiping out Puerto Rico’s and the U.S. Virgin Islands’ 
infrastructure, grinding the city of Houston to a stop, and placing Miami’s downtown streets under water—served as a brutal and costly reminder that our major cities along the coasts have reached a reckoning with the rising tide.
The old adage that a crisis is never a crisis until it is validated by disaster has become a reality for seventy percent of our cities already dealing with flooding, drought, fire and environmental decay.
Cities, towns and campuses can no longer champion the disingenuous framework of climate adaptation plans based on volunteer efforts to recycle, change light bulbs, eat less meat on Mondays or carpool with coworkers that willingly cross a bridge to the future that everyone now knows is on the verge of collapse.
This is the first step toward a regenerative city.
By building on Commoner’s landmark “four laws of ecology,” urban theorist and author
as a natural sequence in planning in an age of climate change.
 “The urban metabolism currently operates as an inefficient and wasteful linear input-output system,” Girardet posited in his groundbreaking work in cities in Europe, Australia, and around the globe. 
“It needs to be transformed into a resource-efficient circular system instead. The only way to overcome notions of ever-greater scarcity is for cities to continually regenerate the living systems on which they rely for their sustenance.”
Following this regenerative approach,
 reduced its carbon emissions by 20 percent from 2007 to 2013, and is on track to become the first carbon neutral city in the world. 
The city galvanized a boom in green jobs, developed walkable neighborhoods powered by solar energy, converted urban waste to compost and revamped local food markets. The city also planted three million trees to absorb carbon.
In an age of climate change, such a vision is not only an essential framework for a new climate resistance.
It may be our only option—for adaptation.

“Saturday Night Live” kicked off its 44th season this week. 
As to be expected, the topic of the opening skit was Brett Kavanaugh’s testimony last week
 before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Playing the role of Kavanaugh: Cambridge’s Matt Damon, who did a great job capturing Kavanaugh’s look and mannerisms (as well as exaggerating them).
Damon was clearly the star of the 13-minute segment.

A Tampa Bay Times review of hundreds of emails between NRA lobbyist Marion Hammer and the state’s Department of Agriculture found her sphere of influence stretches far beyond gun legislation.
Hammer's singular power over lawmakers, especially Republicans, is the stuff of Tallahassee legend. Just this March, a New Yorker profile detailed how the 79-year-old gun rights champion pushed gun laws through Florida's Legislature, transforming the state into a laboratory for the most contentious gun policies, such as "stand your ground."
Yet according to a Tampa Bay Times review of hundreds of Hammer's emails with the state's Department of Agriculture, her sphere of influence stretches far beyond gun legislation. Emails from 2014 to 2017 show the lobbyist involves herself in a wide array of day-to-day tasks of an agency that was accused five years ago in a lawsuit of being run by the NRA.

Election supervisors in 32 Florida counties say it's an "impossibility" to produce ballots and other voting materials in Spanish for the November general election. They are facing off in a Tallahassee courtroom today with several advocacy groups who say the Voting Rights Act of 1965 requires those counties to produce bilingual ballots. Mi Familia Vota Education Fund, Hispanic Federation and three other groups say federal law requires Florida to have bilingual voting materials and poll workers available to people who aren't proficient in English. Those groups flatly argue that Florida is violating the Voting Rights Act and that Puerto Rican voters are "irreparably harmed" by the state's inaction. "There simply is not enough time," the counties argue in court papers filed with U.S. District Judge Mark Walker in Tallahassee.
But the plaintiffs say they approached the counties months ago and asked them to produce bilingual materials, but the counties refused...Meanwhile, Michelle Obama is helping engage voters in South Florida later this month.

I Love Catholic’s


I had better love Catholic’s; most of my mother’s family are Catholic’s, Happy Catholic.

Catholic’s need to unite under one agreement?

I pray that this unity will have some way for their leaders to marry?

As a nobody, I take this as, only the soul will be ruptured, not the body and Angels do not marry.

have been showing their respect to the 
‘Queen of Actors', 'Whoopi Goldberg'.
Along comes Kevin Costner on the view pushing his film ‘Yellowstone' and hugs everyone except Whoopi Goldberg?
If given a 'Script' Costner is a good actor, Whoopi is a 'Great Actor' and can prove it!
As a comic, Costner is adequate at best, Whoopi is a 'Great Comic' and can prove it!
 Kevin Costner would do poorly as a TV Show host, Whoopi is a 'Great Actor' and can prove it!
Kevin Costner would do poorly as a host at the Oscars, Whoopi was 'Great three times' and can prove it!
If Whoopi Goldberg 
chose to be president, Kevin Costner, 
would not be qualified to carry her 'Spittoon'!

Whoopi Goldberg isn’t going anywhere!
The actress, comedian and television host had hinted earlier that this season might be her last on The View, but she had a change of heart.
She made an announcement about her future on The View during a visit to The Tonight Show Tuesday.
“My daughter called me and she said, ‘I really don’t think it should be this year. I think you need to give it another year because we just had this new election, and who knows what’s going to happen, so I’d like you to stick around,’” Goldberg said.
“So when they asked me again, I said, ‘Well, OK, I will do more.”
