The relocations are meant to place interpreters and
others who worked with departing American forces somewhere safe until visas for
them to enter the United States are processed.

WASHINGTON — President Biden said on Thursday that
his administration would begin relocating thousands of Afghan
interpreters, drivers and others who worked with American forces outside
the country in an effort to keep them safe while they apply for entry to the
United States.
“Those who helped us are not going to be left
behind,”
Mr. Biden told reporters at the White House.
United States did what we went to do in
Afghanistan: to get the terrorists who attacked us on 9/11 and to deliver
justice to Osama Bin Laden, and to degrade the terrorist threat to keep
Afghanistan from becoming a base from which attacks could be continued against
the United States.

Afghan interpreters worked with the American
Military to fight their enemies, American Military worked with the Afghan
interpreters to help them save their country from their enemies!
That said; without their help we would
still be looking for our enemies!
