What is the fuss all about with Facebook?

What is the fuss all about with Facebook?
Your personal private information that's what!
How Hillary and the ‘Citizens of the Unites States’

Russians/Facebook/Donald Trump campaign!
What is Cambridge Analytica?

Cambridge Analytica is a British political consulting firm which combines data mining, data brokerage, and data analysis with strategic communication for the electoral process.

It was started in 2013 as an offshoot of

the
SCL Group.

 In a blog post,

Facebook's Chief Technology Officer Mike Schroepfer
said
the company believes data
from up to 87 million people
was
"improperly shared"
with
Cambridge Analytica,

the consulting firm who received data on users and their networks from a researcher who developed an app that captured the information. Facebook banned Cambridge Analytica, the researcher and a former employee from the platform in March.

What ever happened to the rests of the founders of the original face book?

Facebook was launched on February 4, 2004,

The founders initially limited the website's membership to Harvard students.

What happened in the Cambridge Analytica scandal and what steps Facebook is taking to ensure that it doesn't happen again.

Facebook and Cambridge Analytica are the two main actors in an

millions of Facebook users
and
even two presidential elections in Kenya.

It's complicated, so here's a breakdown.

Why are Facebook and Cambridge Analytica in the news?
In a nutshell,

because the personal data of
50 million people was pulled from Facebook
by a company
contracted by Cambridge Analytica

and used for ... we're not sure exactly what.

(Facebook later said the number may have been even higher: up to 87 million users.)

The third-party firm, Global Science Research, used a clicky personality quiz

to get people to interact with the app,

Security for EPA chief comes at a steep cost to taxpayers

Security for EPA chief comes at a steep cost to taxpayers

Regardless of our
political affiliation
my friends!

WE need to rid this country of the
greedy, selfish, infestation in our government,
while we still have a government and a country!

Just one of many that need to be on our chopping block!

Environmental Protection Agency chief Scott Pruitt’s concern with his safety came at a steep cost to taxpayers as his swollen security detail blew through overtime budgets and at times diverted officers away from investigating environmental crimes.

Altogether, the agency spent millions of dollars for a 20-member full-time detail that is more than three times the size of his predecessor’s part-time security contingent.

Pruitt apparently did not consider that upgrade vital to his safety when taxpayers weren’t footing the bill for his ticket.

But on weekend trips home for Sooners football games, when taxpayers weren’t paying for his ticket, the EPA official said Pruitt flew coach.

The prior head of Pruitt’s security detail, Eric Weese, was demoted last year after he refused Pruitt’s demand to use the lights and sirens on his government-owned SUV to get him through Washington traffic to the airport and dinner reservations.

President Donald Trump offered a full-throated defense of Pruitt in a tweet Saturday night.

7 Misleading Things EPA Chief Scott Pruitt Said In His Interview With Time

In a rare mainstream media interview, the nation’s top environmental regulator blows some smoke.

Promise
Clean up air pollution

Pruitt often praises the improvements in U.S. air quality since the Clean Air Act was passed in the early 1970s.

But he also says Obama should have done more to meet existing standards before issuing newer, tighter limits on pollutants, such as a 2015 ozone standard that drew opposition from business groups.

In Pruitt's own words

“One-hundred-twenty million people in this country live in areas that don’t meet air quality standards. That’s what the previous administration left us with,”

Pruitt told a Heritage Foundation event in October.

In line with his promise

  • Plans to keep EPA’s existing standards for nitrogen oxide and sulfur dioxide, which cause respiratory problems and acid rain.

  • Advanced or approved a higher number of state implementation plans for cutting pollution than the Obama administration did in its first eight months.

Not in line

  • Missed a key deadline for implementing Obama’s 2015 ozone pollution limits and has not indicated when EPA will require polluted areas to take action. Instead formed an ozone task force.
  • Moved to rescind Obama’s Clean Power Plan, which would have reduced planet-warming carbon emissions and harmful air pollutants from coal plants.
  • Plans to ease Obama’s auto pollution standards.
  • Delayed the legal defense of Obama’s standards for mercury and air toxics from power plants.
  • Halted an Obama-era order to prevent states from exempting power plants, refineries and chemical manufacturers from pollution standards when they are starting up, shutting down or malfunctioning.
  • Defended a White House budget proposal that would cut money for state regulators who test air quality and carry out federal laws – despite his public vow to push for funding.

In Pruitt's own words
In line with his promise

  • Suggested a top-10 list of priority sites for the agency to aggressively address.

  • Ordered all Superfund cleanup plans costing more than $50 million to get his personal approval.

  • Issued a task force list of 42 recommendations for the Superfund program, including steps to speed up the assessment, review and decision processes.

  • Ordered two companies to pay $115 million to clean up the San Jacinto Superfund site in Houston, one of two sites significantly damaged by flooding from Hurricane Harvey.

Not in line

  • Signed off on a White House budget proposal that would strip $330 million from the $1.1 billion Superfund program and cut funding for the Justice Department to enforce cases.
  • Has endorsed further staff and resource cuts that could make it more difficult to expedite cleanups.

MSNBC Morning Joe 04/06.2018 trade wars

Morning Joe - Hillary won by 17 million votes

Even Morning Joe is now admitting that Hillary Clinton won the Whitehouse by (around 17 million votes);

The MSNBC’s Morning Joe Show mercilessly beat up on Hillary and the Democrats all during the elections.

Is finely admitting that Hillary was the actual winner.

So what are we going to do about this?

Today the guy in the Whitehouse is cutting his staunch supporters off at the knees!

100 billion trade wars hurt all of his supporters!

Trump doubles down on potential trade war with China!

Hurts the countries farmers and manufacturing!

Trumps war is going to trickle down to also with Japan, South Korea, and seven or eight other countries, for will Trumps followers feel about him now?

WASHINGTON

President Trump said Thursday the United States would consider slapping an additional $100 billion in tariffs on the Chinese, on top of the $50 billion the White House has already authorized, escalating a trade dispute with China.

Mr. Trump said in a statement that he was responding to “unfair retaliation” by China, which published a list on Wednesday of $50 billion in American products that would be hit by tariffs, including soybeans and pork, a direct reaction to the $50 billion in tariffs on Chinese goods that the White House detailed on Tuesday.

“Rather than remedy its misconduct, China has chosen to harm our farmers and manufacturers,” Mr. Trump said, adding that he has instructed the United States trade representative to determine if another $100 billion in tariffs were warranted and, “if so, to identify the products upon which to impose such tariffs.”

The threat came one day after some of Mr. Trump’s advisers tried to calm markets and tamp down fears of a trade war between the world’s two largest economies, saying that the tariff threats were just the first step in a negotiation process. Mr. Trump said in his statement that the potential for new tariffs would not preclude discussions with the Chinese “to protect the technology and intellectual property of American companies and American people,” but the threat of new tariffs is unlikely to make that already tough task any easier.

Arizona woman takes in dad, 4-day-old daughter who were unable to fly home

Rubin Swift drove across the country to pick up his newborn daughter
Ru-Andria, of whom he had just gained custody.

Despite having what Frontier Airlines told him he needed to get his daughter on board,
which included a birth certificate and a note from the hospital saying she was clear to fly,
the two were denied entry at the gate.

Frontier Airlines' policy states that a child must be at least 7 days old to fly.

"I asked for my money.
They said it would take seven days to get your money back,

Can you believe this?

Can you believe this?

Connecticut was one of the schools of a mass murder and these schools want to punish their children for protesting 'Gun violence in school'!

An initial decision by Norwich Technical High School administrators to suspend several students for walking out Wednesday during the planned “walk-in” demonstration against school violence sparked a barrage of criticism and protests of the school on social media and a reversal of the disciplinary action Thursday.

Walkout by New London kindergartners sparks debate

A17-minute walk outside Harbor Elementary School has sparked a heated political debate on social media, a call for a principal’s resignation, hints of censure for a school board member and a passionate defense of the teachers involved.

New London — It started with what people involved called an innocent attempt to involve local 5-year-olds in a historic moment in the country.

But a 17-minute walk outside Harbor Elementary School has sparked a heated political debate on social media, a call for a principal’s resignation, hints of censure for a school board member and a passionate defense of the teachers involved.

Two dozen kindergartners accompanied by teachers and chaperones emerged from the school on Wednesday to wave to passing vehicles, chant “we love school” and honor what one parent called “the 17 angels in heaven.” The 10 a.m. “safety walk” for kindergartners coincided with walkouts held at schools nationwide one month after a shooting at a Parkland, Fla., school left 14 students and three staff members dead.

As opposed to the rallies at high schools focused on topics like stricter gun laws, Olga Vokolou emphasized that kids were told they were walking for school safety. Vokolou is a parent of a kindergartner at Harbor and accompanied the group as a chaperone. She praised the teachers for involving the students.

He said his recommendation to the board is “they completely ignore this and ask Mr. Catala to apologize.”

It is not the first time Catala has faced criticism from the superintendent and fellow board members. In January, he drew the ire of his colleagues over his social media posts and board members had alleged he spread misinformation about a staff member.

Board member Manny Rivera, at that time, had warned he would move to censure a board member who was publicly criticizing a district employee.

Board President Mirna Martinez on Thursday said “she wouldn’t be opposed” to such an action in this case.

“It’s not appropriate,” Martinez said of Catala’s comments. She said the board has jurisdiction over one district employee, and that's the superintendent.

As to the kindergartners walking on Wednesday, Martinez said children even at that young age might have questions that should be addressed in some way.

“I’m grateful for teachers that want to respond to them and have a dialogue with them,” Martinez said. “I trust they had the best intentions.”

How do dictators come to power?

This country (The United States of America) is now about one or two steps from being a ‘Socialist Communist Country’!
Firing FBI Director Muller
is the start
of the end
of our country
as we know it!
How do dictators come to power?
Answer

Dictators come to power primarily during times of national weakness,
such as economic downturns and during national emergencies.

During national struggles,
dictators emerge as powerful and confident leaders
offering to provide fellow citizens
with guidance and direction.

Like what is now happening
in the United States
Federal and states governments!

And

If the rest of the power
(Congress/Senators House of Representatives),
in their country cowers to this person it will always lead to a one person government!

 Like the following governments!

Vladimir Putin - Russia
Adolf Hitler - Nazi Germany
Mussolini Socialist Italy
Bashar al-Assad Syria
Fidel Castro - Cuba
Xi Jinping - China
Kim Jong-un - North Korea
Donald Trump USA
Paul Ryan - House of Representatives
Mitch McConnell - Senate
Sebastián Piñera - Chili
Michel Temer - Brazil
and so on.

Who is willing to fix this country?

Well for starters let’s stop and listen to our young adults?

We have been murdering them for years!

So, why not listen to them for a time to be set after the next election?

This country does not need a candidate to tell us what is wrong with our country!

People from diaper to Death already know what is wrong with this country.

What we want, need and must insist on, are candidates that have tested, proven, plans, and a history, to help correct what is wrong with this country!

For Starters!

Any candidate with a favorable rating with the NRA does not fix this need!

Back in our history people in power have always been great at telling us what is wrong and then fudging their ideas of what to do about it.

Take for instance
the serpent telling Adams and Eve what is wrong with the tree of knowledge and offering the phony (Wrong) way to correct the problem?

Genesis 2:16–17

A man of truth and wisdom on how to correct all of our problems, we murdered.

We wasted 8 years of help
for our country
because our president
is a
Black,
Christian,
Family man
with a heart of gold,
but not a republican!

The best candidate (EVER),
we murdered with
lies, half truths, discrimination
and
just plain hate!

Who to vote for in midterm election?

How has your Florida senator voted on assault weapons and arming teachers so far?

The full Senate will vote Monday afternoon.

Two Republicans joined all of the senate Democrats 20 – 17 vote against assault weapon ban,

An amendment that would have banned assault weapons attached to a wider bill failed on Saturday in a largely party-line vote, in response to the Feb. 14 killing of 14 students and three faculty at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in the Fort Lauderdale suburb of Parkland.

The vote was 20-17 against the assault weapon ban, with two Republicans joining all of the senate’s 15 Democrats in support of the proposal, the Miami Herald reported.
