Making our schools safe!

Experience shows that however deep the pain and the shock of a mass shooting, the more time that passes without serious action, the less likely a significant change in gun laws becomes!

This is just another reason to tighten up out belts, roll up our sleeves and get in line to help our children, whenever asked to help, to save we the adults, this country and the world from the people in the

like Trump and congress, like

and in our states like
Governor Scott!

Ever hear of Multitasking?

(The simultaneous management of two or more tasks by a computer or a person).

For starters and only for starters and at the same time government must start to multitask

(Take weapons of mass destruction off the shelves and at the same time, put real strength into our weapons laws, while at the same time, voting out all of congress that is still taking anything monetary from the NRA)!

(1)– Weapons of mass destructions

(A)- Governor Rick Scott, force your weapons manufacturing companies in Florida to only sell to the military!

(B)- Stop going to other states on taxpayer’s dime, to pay other weapons dealers and manufacturing companies to come to Florida!

Governor Rick Scott, More guns means more money in your pockets, this must stop, this is no longer going to be a ‘Mini-Illinois’ this is our state!

(C)- Do not take any citizens weapons that have their weapons legally.

Vote out of office, any office for life, any congress person that refuses to put real guts and bite into our gun laws, all of our gun laws.

Turn our weapons laws over to our courts, police and citizens and away from the NRA!
(D)- Kick Lobbyist, the NRA and Weapons manufacturers out of our government,
voters did not and never would have allowed them in, in the first place!

White Evangelicals

Students still holding out from the never again movement
Do you go to school, any school?
Do you go to church, synagogue or mosque?
Do you go to the movies?
Do you go to clubs, meetings or gatherings?

Will you be the NRA’s next victim?

White Evangelicals,

This is Why People Are, through With You

you never publicly offered prayers for him and his family,

you never welcomed him to your Christian Universities,

you never gave him the benefit of the doubt in any instance,

you never spoke of offering him forgiveness or mercy,

your evangelists never publicly thanked God for his leadership,

your pastors never took to the pulpit to offer solidarity with him,

you never made any effort to affirm his humanity or show the love of Jesus to him in any quantifiable measure.

CNN's Drew Griffin interview with Team Trumps Florin Goldfarb

Florine Gruen Goldfarb runs the Team Trump Broward County Facebook page, which posted numerous times about events that were promoted and encouraged by the Russians.

This is a reason, a very good reason, why we the voters must get behind our Young Adults - ‘Future governors, senators, representatives, presidents, millionaires, billionaires and anything else their Hearts desire.'

"I don't go with Russians, c'mon, give me a break," she said.

Trump supporters were not the only people duped by the Internet Research Agency. As CNN has previously reported, Black Lives Matter activists and Muslim groups were also targeted.

Micah White, a co-founder of the Occupy Wall Street movement, also fell victim to the Internet Research Agency. In June 2016, he gave a telephone interview to the website Black Matters US, which was run by the group.

To change gun laws, change Congress

To change gun laws, change Congress
February 18. 2018
By The Day Editorial Board

Every country has people with mental illness and serious emotional problems, a smaller percentage with violent tendencies.
But, aside from lawless nations confronting anarchy,
the United States stands alone in providing such easy access to guns designed to kill many people fast.

So, yes,
as President Trump noted
after the latest slaughter of innocents at a Florida high school,
the nation should do more to help people struggling with mental illness.
But what it must certainly do, and what the president and his Republican Party refuse to do,
is control access to these WMDs — weapons of mass death.

It is also worth noting that even on the issue of mental health,
Trump’s call for action drips with insincerity.
His just-released budget proposal seeks massive cuts
that would dramatically reduce access to the nation's mental health care system
millions of low-income individuals.
Likewise the administration continues to
undermine the Affordable Care Act without proposing an alternative program.

The editorial board is composed of the publisher and four journalists of varied editing and reporting backgrounds.

Students Fighting Guns Since Adults Won

Students Fighting Guns Since Adults Won't

Julia Kemple started this petition to Representative Fred Upton and 6 others

Adults have failed us. Everyday, we students walk into school with the promise of an education without threat of violence. However, it has become increasingly clear that hallways of schools across America are no longer a guaranteed safe haven. Whether it's an elementary school in small-town Connecticut or a high school in Florida, it's become apparent that school shootings are becoming an expected part of American life. Since 2013, there have been 291 school shootings, with 18 of them happening in 2018 alone. We simply ask how many shootings will it take, how many innocent children have to die, until adults decide we, as our nation's children, are more important than our nation's guns. Therefore, we ask our fellow students to take it upon ourselves to stand up as our adults remain sitting. We demand change.

While most students cannot vote, we are not voiceless to our society. There are about 56 million K through 12 students in the United States. If we mobilize this population -- by signing petitions, contacting lawmakers, and utilizing social media -- we can make our presence felt. Ultimately, our goal is to pressure lawmakers to make comprehensive and responsible gun control policy to keep our schools and society safe.

It's not a matter of if anymore, it's a matter of when we will be affected.

Students For Gun Legislation

If all of the ‘Mass Murdering to date’ were legally?

A few interesting facts, for 2nd Amendment people.

If all of the murdering people in this countries ‘Mass Murdering to date’ were legally and properly armed, each should have only been able to buy Muskets!

And then, only for a year at most!

One shot about every five minutes
would have been tackled
long before
the gun is reloaded!

If not for the influx of money
this should be true today!

The NRA, their Lobbyists/Politicians and other misguided people, changes the type of weapon!

The American Revolutionary War, also known as the American War of Independence, was a global war that began as a conflict between Great Britain and its Thirteen Colonies which declared independence as the United States of America. Wikipedia

American colonists were barely 12 years removed from the French and Indian wars (1754-1763), but close enough to a new conflict to begin thinking about the necessity for building a store of weapons. Those who served in militias in that earlier war had furnished their own weapons. The guns would have been muskets, fowling pieces or no weapon at all. They brought and carried their own provisions. Although the musket would be carried over to the new war, some weapons had seen its zenith in the old conflict. The matchlock musket was obsolete by 1775, but still retained by some families as a useful, but cumbersome to fire, weapon.

April 19, 1775 – September 3, 1783

Second Amendment to the United States Constitution

The revolutionaries also created a full-time regular army—the Continental Army—but because of manpower shortages the militia provided short-term support to the regulars in the field throughout the war.

In colonial era Anglo-American usage, militia service was distinguished from military service in that the latter was normally a commitment for a fixed period of time of at least a year, for a salary, whereas militia was only to meet a threat, or prepare to meet a threat, for periods of time expected to be short. Militia persons were normally expected to provide their own weapons, equipment, or supplies, although they may later be compensated for losses or expenditures.[71] A related concept is the jury, which can be regarded as a specialized form of militia convened to render a verdict in a court proceeding (known as a petit jury or trial jury) or to investigate a public matter and render a presentment or indictment (grand jury).[72]

With the Constitutional Convention of 1787 and Article 1 Section 8 of the United States Constitution, control of the army and the power to direct the militia of the states was concurrently delegated to the federal Congress.[73] The Militia Clauses gave Congress authority for "organizing, arming, and disciplining" the militia, and "governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States", with the States retaining authority to appoint officers and to impose the training specified by Congress. Proponents describe a key element in the concept of "militia" was that to be "genuine" it not be a "select militia", composed of an unrepresentative subset of the population. This was an argument presented in the ratification debates.[74]

The first legislation on the subject was the Militia Act of 1792 which provided, in part:

That each and every free able-bodied white male citizen of the respective States, resident therein, who is or shall be of age of eighteen years, and under the age of forty-five years (except as is herein after excepted) shall severally and respectively be enrolled in the militia, ... every citizen, so enrolled and notified, shall, within six months thereafter, provide himself with a good musket or firelock.
