delivers gifts to Wichita veterans

Kansas
veterans are honored this holiday season for their service to our country.
Santa and his
helpers visited veterans on Tuesday in the Medical Foster Program through the
Dole VA.
The program
is for veterans who require regular care and supervision.
Santa spent
the day visiting several homes in Wichita to deliver gifts to them, their
families,
and
the people
that help with their care.
"I think
it's great that they do things like this for the veterans, and you guys come to
the veterans hospital out here, I just think it's all great for being a part of
it,"
says David
Goodman.
There are
currently 10 caregivers who work with the program full time to provide care for
veterans in need.
